My crucified Lord Jesus,

I adore You, I love You,

because, for love of the Father, in the Holy Spirit,

You have, by your Cross, redeemed the world.

I thank You for your love for me,

for having suffered so much pain,

taking upon Yourself my sins,

sins which I now repent with all my heart.

Lord Jesus, Master and Saviour,

in union with Mary and with the angels and saints,

I adore the bleeding and glorious wounds

of your hands, which bless and heal and save;

of your lacerated feet which brought the good news of peace;

of your pierced heart which, on your Cross, won the death!

May I see in You, hanging on the Cross, the face of God

May I yield to your love,

loving my brothers and sisters as You have loved them.

May I find in You the strength to forgive,

and the comfort in suffering.

I pray that your Church,

may ever bear witness to your love,

and be ever a centre of unity and peace for all people.
